Upgrade bed connections with visibility

HighLight provides instant LED feedback on bed connection status and integrates hospital equipment with the nurse call system

Use HighLight to display bed connection status outside the room at a glance with HallMonitor

The LEDs aren’t turning on. What should I check?
Make sure the device is powered using the included 12V 3A power supply and that the 37-pin bed cable is securely connected. If the room is dark, the light sensor may have dimmed the LEDs — increase ambient light to test.

Can I change what the function button does?
Yes. The built-in dynamic button is programmable and can be set to trigger custom workflows based on your facility’s needs.

What types of connections are supported?
HighLight supports both 37-pin and 1/4” plug-ins for bed connection, nurse call output, call cords, and accessories — all routed through seven input/output ports.

How do I know if the bed is connected properly?
The LED indicator will glow green when connected and red when disconnected — providing clear visibility to the care team at a glance.

Is HighLight compatible with any bed or nurse call system?
Yes. HighLight is designed to work universally with any bed type and any 37-pin or 1/4” based nurse call infrastructure.

Mounting
Mount HighLight to a single gang wall opening or flat headwall surface using the included bracket and hardware. Position it for clear visibility by the care team and away from potential bed impact zones. Snap the device into place once the bracket is secured.

Connecting
● Connect the bottom 37-pin port to the nurse call system.
● Connect the front 37-pin port to the bed.
● Optional: Use the side 1/4” jacks for Priority and Routine call accessories.
● Plug in the included 12V 3A power supply to activate the unit.

Power & LED Behavior
Once powered, the LED will display:

● Green = Bed connected● Red = Bed disconnected

Brightness auto-adjusts based on ambient light.
